Board & Train

This is an excellent opportunity to have your pup receive the highest level of professional care with the bonus of personalized training and socialization (for puppies), should you need to travel. We use only force-free, positive reinforcement training methods while your pup stays in our loving home, play, train, rest.

Guardians are required to meet for at least one transfer session after pick up.

*Board & Train is not for all behavior modification cases, behavior modification requires guardians to learn how to help their pups cope and to shape their behavior.

Paid trial night required.

Please reach out with any questions, we are happy to hear your needs and talk with you.

Dynamic Dog Assessment

Research suggests that up to 80% of pet behavior cases have an underlying pain component. Dogs experiencing musculoskeletal pain, gastrointestinal distress, and allergic conditions are more likely to display unwanted behaviors. These behaviors include and are not limited to, barking, lunging, overarousal, refusal to go on walks, not eating, eating non-food items, compulsive behaviors like light chasing, and others.

The only way we can learn if the dogs in our care are in pain is through their behavior. It is unethical and inhumane to move forward with training to change their behavior when potential pain hasn’t been thoroughly investigated and treated, as the unwanted behavior may very likely be caused by or exacerbated by pain.

Pain also inhibits learning, making curiosity and investigation of potential pain the first step in setting our learners up for success.

This in depth, hands off assessment, along with your veterinarian, will help you and your pup find relief sooner.
